The Golden State Warriors are 4-0 on the road against Eastern Conference opponents this year

Golden State has won the first four games of its current road trip, including a 104-96 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats as 4.5-point favorites.  “We came in here and worked our tails off and we prepared ourselves for this season,” stated Warriors coach Mark Jackson about his team’s recent play.  The Warriors are 8-4 on the road this season, including a perfect 4-0 mark versus Eastern Conference opponents.  Golden State is 21-7-1 ATS in its last 29 road games, which can’t be ignored when making your NBA picks against the spread on Wednesday night.

The Warriors earned a 111-106 overtime victory against the Heat as nine-point home underdogs in the only meeting between the teams a season ago, while going OVER the posted total of 197.  Golden State has dropped three straight in Miami and 14 of 16.  The team has already bested its total number of wins versus teams out East this season, posting an 8-1 record in that situation, which is a far cry from its finishing mark of 7-11 last year.

Miami has won and covered the spread in its last two games, including a 101-92 victory over the Atlanta Hawks as 6.5-point home favorites, while going UNDER the total for the first time in four contests.  The Heat are averaging a league-high 108.6 points per game at home this season, which has led to them posting a 10-1 record at the AmericanAirlines Arena.  Miami is 20-9 ATS in its last 29 home games, which is an important factor to handicap when looking over the pro basketball odds page.

The Heat have gone 22-3 in their last 25 games in the month of December since the 2010-11 season, which includes a 9-2 mark when playing in front of their fans.  Miami has compiled a 7-0 record this season when its bench outscores its opponents, which has been the case in each of the last two victories.

Sports bettors will likely back the Warriors due to the undergoing going 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings, while the Heat are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games versus teams with a winning record.
