NBA- James Vs the Pistons?

So, in the Eastern Conference finals the question is can the Pistons stop LeBron James? James has had a dynamite post-season, averaging 27.3 PPG while dishing off an average of six assists and grabbing 6.7 rebounds.

The fact is that these two teams look relatively even on paper. However, the Pistons excel at the foul line—77.4% to 69.5%. That’s the biggest differential between these clubs.

The Cavs have never won a NBA Championship and the last time they went to the conference finals was in 1992 when James was 7. Last year, they were eliminated in the semi-finals. The Pistons lost in the Eastern Conference Championship last year and have won 3 NBA titles. In a short but stellar career, James has shown steady growth and has become a team leader and fan favorite.

The Cavaliers won the series 4 games to 2, winning the final game 88- 72. The difference in the game was the three-point line, from which Cleveland shot 41% to New Jersey’s 19%.

James and the Cavs look hot. But can they beat a fine defensive, well-oiled team like the Pistons. It’s about this time that clubs with a balanced attack and “D define themselves as winners.
