Mid Week NFL Lines Update for Week 4 NFL Betting Action

It is Thursday and with the books opening up week 4 betting lines on Sunday night, we have had a chance to see some early line movement thus far. Professionals and semi-sharp bettors already have bet up a couple road favorites pushing the Indianapolis Colts to -9 (opened 7.5) against the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys to -9 ½ (opened -7) against the Tennessee Titans.

CRIS and Pinnacle opened up a couple other road favorites around the much important key number of 3 this week including the San Diego Chargers -2.5 over the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland Browns -3 against the Oakland Raiders and finally the Jacksonville Jaguars are 2.5 point favorites over the Skins.

What has to stand out the most about the week 4 NFL odds is the New England Patriots are catching 6 points. Before you go putting your money down on the red hot Bengal’s, the last time the Patriots received this many points was five years ago against the Rams in the Super Bowl. We all know how that one turned out.

Pinnacle opened up Cincinnati -4 against New England. But following Denver’s dominating 17-7 win over New England on Sunday night, players were making bets on Cincinnati at a clip of 4 ½-1, said a Pinnacle spokesperson raising the line to -6.

As for the totals starting with the overs, Indy and the Jets have seen the total rise from 44 to 46.5, Atlanta and the Cardinals have been bet up from 37 to 40.5, and the Monday night game has been bet up from 45.5 to 48 and we expect more movement on this one upwards by gameday.

There has also been a little movement on a few games towards the under. San Diego & Baltimore bet down from 36.5 to 33 and Dallas & Tennessee bet down from 40.5 to 37.
