Indiana Hoosiers RB Tevin Coleman is one of the best players in the Big Ten Conference

Indiana has gone 0-4 SU and 0-3-1 ATS in its last four games, as it remains home after dropping a 13-7 decision to the Penn State Nittany Lions as six-point home underdogs last week, while getting out-gained by a triple-digit margin for a third consecutive contest.  The Hoosiers have a major offensive threat in running back Tevin Coleman, which is important to consider when making your Week 12 college football predictions, as he ranks second nationally with 1,371 rushing yards.  Indiana is 1-6 SU and 1-5-1 ATS as underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 5-2 in those seven opportunities.

The Hoosiers defense put things together in a big way in their last matchup, as the Nittany Lions’ 330 total yards of offense were the fewest they’ve allowed in a Big Ten Conference games since Nov. 27, 2010.  Indiana has created holes for Coleman to run through by having the most experienced offensive line in the country, with 11 different players totaling 175 combined starts.

Rutgers have lost three games in a row, including a 37-0 blowout loss to the Wisconsin Badgers as 12.5-point home underdogs on Nov. 1, while it has been out-gained by at least 107 yards in every contest during the losing streak.  The Scarlet Knights would move to 6-4 on the season and become bowl eligible for the ninth time in 10 campaigns by earning a victory in this spot, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football betting lines.  Rutgers is 2-2 SUATS as home favorites of 3.5 to 7 points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 3-1 in that situation.

The Scarlet Knights are 21-5 SU in the last four seasons when attempting at least 35 rushes in a game, while they’ve scored in 23 of their 26 trips inside the redzone during the 2014 campaign.  Rutgers has captured 18 of its 21 games when scoring 20 points or more under head coach Kyle Flood.

Sports bettors will likely back the Hoosiers due to the Scarlet Knights being 2-7 ATS in November the last two-plus seasons.
