Home Run Derby Odds & Picks

Here are the updated state farm home run derby odds from bookmaker.  As you can see the bookmakers consider Miguel Cabrera the favorite at +230 which is just a tad higher than 2 to 1 odds.  David Ortiz checks in as the second choice with odds of +315.

The player that might offer the most value is Milwaukee’s Corey Hart at +450.  Hart’s will be trying to bring back the home run derby champion title back to Milwaukee as fellow teammate Prince Fielder won the 2009 edition.

The longshot in the field is Arizona’s Chris Young who in the press conference joked if he wins he would like the other participants to carry him off the field.  Young’s odds are a healthy 7 to 1 (+700).

Rounding out the field are Matt Holliday at +450, Nick Swisher at +520, Hanley Ramirez at +650, and Vernon Wells at +600.

All lines are current as of 5:30 eastern time.  Visit Bookmaker to bet on the home run derby or for up to date home run derby odds.
