Deion Branch to the Seahawks!

Check your rosters, the Seahawks have just increased their chances of making it back to the Super Bowl. Patriots holdout and star wide receiver Deion Branch has been traded to Seattle for a 2007 first-round pick.

The Patriots and Branch were at a stalemate over the WR’s worth. Branch was benched for at least the first 10 games of the season and the two sides were headed into arbitration.

Both teams struggled in their first game. The Seahawks beat the Lions 9- 3 on a battle of field goals. The Pats barely got by the Buffalo Bills 19-17 on a fourth quarter safety.

How will this affect the Patriots? In their first game of the season, Tom Brady did not look like the Brady every knows. He struggled for much of the day. The Pats, who have dominated the AFC East for the past few years, are now facing a much improved division. On the other coast, the Seahawks may have found just what they need to have another stellar season.
