The Lakers are coming off their second consecutive championship and looking for the three peat. Very little has changed from last season, with the exception of losing Jordan Farmar, and adding Steve Blake and Matt Barnes. These small tweaks are unlikely to affect the stats of the prime players very much, and the real variable is going to be how much the Lakers decide to rest Kobe Bryant during the regular season. Gasol may experience a slight bump in stats, with Bynum being perpetually injured. We’ll examine these variables in the Lakers’ player prop bets available at Bodog.
Portland was a bit of a disappointment last year. Setting the bar high in light of how much talent they have, the Blazers struggled with injury problems, losing Oden, Przybilla, and Brandon Roy for stretches of the season. The bar still remains high in Portland, as their depth and talent makes them a favorite in the West. For season prop bets, the Blazers had 30/1 odds for a championship, and I advocated that as a value bet based on their talent level. While it seems highly unlikely that the Blazers actually do win a championship this year, it is also not out of the realm of possiblity. LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy are entering their respective primes, and Portland’s wealth of depth makes them a tough team to deal with. Here are a look at some of the player prop bets available at Bodog for the Portland Trail Blazers.
What a wild season! The Saints lose at home to the Browns, the Ravens nearly lose to the lowly Bills, and the Raiders put up 59 points in 3 quarters against the Broncos in Denver. Just another week in the 2010 NFL season.
Oklahoma City shocked the NBA world last year by winning 50 games, and then subsequently pushing the Lakers to a rebound away from a game 7. Durant led the league in scoring, Westbrook emerged as a leader, and Jeff Green continued to improve. The Thunder are the “feel good” exciting story of the league and while last year they managed to fly under the radar for most of the year, this year the league has taken notice of the Thunder as one of the premier teams to be reckoned with. This article will look at the prop bets for Durant & crew.

1. Oregon Ducks, 7-0 (1) – The Ducks throttled UCLA at home. The offense looks unstoppable, but the Pac 10 isn’t known for its defense. The Duck D has been good enough; they don’t have to be great when the offense puts up 60 points. They have an intriguing game at a resurgent USC this week. The Trojans defense is terrible, but the offense is decent. Should be a shootout. Last week: Defeated UCLA, 60-13. This week: at USC (5-2).
