The Oklahoma Sooners are 3-0 SUATS as road favorites of 3.5 to 7 points since 2012

Oklahoma owns the nation’s second-longest active win streak in the country at eight games, as it looks to improve upon its 29-9 SU record against unranked Big 12 Conference opponents on the road under head coach Bob Stoops.  The Sooners own a plus-113 scoring edge in their first four games, and have trailed for only 4:37 of clock time in 2014.  It’s important to point out that the team has won 22 consecutive games when scoring 30 or more points, which can’t be ignored when looking over the Week 6 college football odds.  Oklahoma is 3-0 SUATS as road favorites of 3.5 to 7 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Sooners have outscored opponents by a 58-7 margin in the opening 15 minutes in 2014, which is important to consider when making your college football predictions, but the Horned Frogs own a 31-0 advantage in that same time frame.  Oklahoma will look to pound the football on the ground due to its 64-1 SU mark when gaining 200 or more rushing yards during the Stoops era, but that number will be tough to reach against a foe that surrenders just 91.7 rushing yards per contest.

TCU has opened with a 3-0 record for the seventh time in the last 12 seasons, while it has won four of its last six meetings against top-five opponents.  The Horned Frogs have put together a 14-14 SU record against ranked opponents under longtime head coach Gary Patterson, while they’ve captured 63 of 77 overall games at Amon G. Carter Stadium during his time on campus.  TCU is 0-2 SUATS as home underdogs of 3.5 to 7 points since 2012.

The Horned Frogs are 4-9 SU all-time in this series, including a 1-5 mark when playing in Fort Worth.  Trevone Boykin is one of the main players to handicap in this affair, as he’s one of just nine nationally to lead his team in passing yards and rushing.  TCU’s new offense under co-coordinators Sonny Cumbie and Doug Meachem is averaging 532.0 yards per game and on pace to set school records for first downs, passing yards and total offense.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 4-0 in the last four meetings in this Big 12 series.
