Baylor is 4-0 SU and 3-0-1 ATS through four games this season, as it comes off a 49-28 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones as 21-point road favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total for a third consecutive contest.  The Bears offensive line is one of two teams nationally that has not allowed a sack this season, which is important to consider when making your Week 6 college football predictions, especially since the offense has scored at least 14 points in eight of its last nine quarters of play.  Baylor is 11-2-1 ATS in its last 14 games following a SU win of more than 20 points.

The Bears have won three of their last four meetings against the Longhorns, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college football lines page.  Baylor has been the most successful FBS team in the Lone Star State since 2011 with a winning percentage of .767.  Senior quarterback Bryce Petty is a serious Heisman Trophy contender, as he recorded his 12th career 300-yard passing game last week, while also accounting for three scores.

Texas snapped its two-game losing streak by picking up a 23-0 victory over the Kansas Jayhawks as 10.5-point road favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the third time in four affairs.  The Longhorns are in the middle of their first year of the Charlie Strong era, which has seen multiple players leave the program, while eight true freshmen have seen time on the field.  The UNDER is 8-1 in the team’s last nine games versus teams with a winning record.

The Longhorns have gotten after opposing quarterbacks this season, as they entered their last affair ranked sixth in the country in averaging 4.3 sacks per game—tallying four against the Jayhawks.  Texas signal-caller Tyrone Swoopes completed 19 of 34 passes for a career-high 218 yards with two touchdowns, as he’s now gone 68 straight pass attempts without an interception and has just one on the season.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bears due to their 4-0 ATS mark in their last four meetings against the Longhorns.
