TCU snapped a three-game losing streak by picking up a 21-17 victory over the Iowa State Cyclones as seven-point road favorites last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for the fifth time in six contests.  The Horned Frogs are looking to move a step closer to becoming bowl eligible for a ninth straight season, which is important to consider when making your college football predictions in Week 12.  Gary Patterson will return to his alma mater for the first time as a head coach, as he was a 1983 graduate in Manhattan.  TCU is 3-5 SUATS as underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 5-3 in that situation.

The Horned Frogs have the nation’s fourth-best road record at 21-5 since 2009, while capturing 17 of their last 21 conference games away from Fort Worth.  TCU is tied for third nationally with five wins away from home against Top 25 opponents over that same period of time, which can’t be ignored when looking over the NCAA football betting lines.    The team is on pace to become the first Big 12 squad since 1996 to lead the conference in both sacks and interceptions.

Kansas State has won and covered the number in three consecutive games, including a 49-26 blowout victory over Texas Tech as 2.5-point road underdogs in Week 11, but it was outgained by 92 yards in that affair.  The Wildcats have done their best work in the final 15 minutes of play over that span—scoring 56 points in the fourth quarter and allowing opponents to just 14.  Offensively, the team is averaging 34.0 points per game, with a balanced attack of rushing and throwing the ball for 197.7 and 209.4 yards respectively.  Kansas State is 17-2 SU and 12-6-1 ATS as a favorite since 2011.

The Wildcats will become bowl eligible for the 15th time under head coach Bill Snyder with their next win, which is a surprising outcome after opening up this year with a 2-4 record.  Kansas State is a dominating 49-17 in the month of November during Snyder’s time on campus.

Sports bettors will likely back the Horned Frogs due to their 3-1 ATS mark in their last four opportunities as a road underdog of 7.5 to 10 points.
