Kentucky hits the road for the final time during the regular season, as it attempts to bounce back from a disappointing 73-60 setback to the Arkansas Razorbacks as 2.5-point road underdogs last Saturday, while going UNDER the total for the first time in five contests.  The Wildcats have compiled a dominating 26-3 record in the month of March under coach John Calipari, which can’t be ignored when making your college basketball predictions Thursday night.  Kentucky is 1-4 ATS as road favorites of three points or less the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 4-1 in that situation.

The Wildcats are one of just two teams in the SEC who have a .500 or better record when playing on the road during league play, which is important to consider when looking over the college basketball odds page.  Kentucky has three projected starters averaging in double figures, with guard Archie Goodwin leading the way, scoring 13.8 points per game.  The program has won 14 of the last 18 match ups in this series, while owning a 115-25 all-time advantage over Georgia.

Georgia has alternated wins and losses over its last four games, as it comes off a 78-68 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers as two-point home underdogs last Saturday, while going OVER the total for a second consecutive contest.  The Bulldogs continue to be led on the offensive end by sophomore guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is averaging 18.0 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.  He is one of 11 players nationally that has scored in double figures in every game.  Georgia is 9-6 ATS as an underdog this season, with the UNDER going 5-4 in that situation.

The Bulldogs have use 12 different starting lineups during the 2012-13 season, with Caldwell-Pope on pace to reach 1,000 career points at season’s end.  Georgia’s 78 points versus Tennessee was its highest total of the SEC season and its highest mark in a conference game since mid-February of last year.  Offensively, the team has scored above its seasonal average in each of its last five games, which could lead to a higher-scoring outcome in this affair.

Sports bettors will likely play the total in this affair, as the OVER is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in this series.
