The UCLA Bruins have won six of their last seven games against the Arizona State Sun Devils

Arizona State has won and covered the number in its last two games, as it comes off a 70-59 victory over the USC Trojans as 3.5-point road favorites last Thursday, while going UNDER the betting total for a fifth consecutive affair.  The Sun Devils haven’t swept the Los Angeles road trip since the 1986-87 season—accomplishing that feat just once in program history.  Offensively, the team is led by the play of point guard Jahii Carson, who is averaging 22.2 points in 14 true road games over the course of his career.  Arizona State is 4-1 ATS in its last five Sunday games.

The Sun Devils have a chance of pulling off the upset if Carson continues to shoot at a high clip from beyond the arc, as he’s knocked down 51.1 percent of his attempts from that area during the 2013-14 campaign.  Arizona State also has one of the best defensive players in the country in center Jordan Bachynski, who has recorded an NCAA-best 76 blocks—more than 284 Division I teams.  He has also tallied five 20-point games in his career in this series.

UCLA had its three-game winning streak snapped in suffering a 79-75 defeat to the Arizona Wildcats as 1.5-point home underdogs last time out, while going OVER the betting total of 144.  The Bruins hold a 63-18 SU advantage in this series, including wins in six of the last seven meetings, which can’t be ignored when making your college basketball predictions.  Forward Kyle Anderson is the key player to handicap—averaging 15.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists.  UCLA is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 home games versus teams with a winning home record.

The Bruins have recorded the nation’s second-highest field goal percentage at 51.8 percent, which has led directly to ranking behind only eight teams in scoring 86.2 points a contest.  UCLA is led offensively by sophomore guard Jordan Adams, who has scored in double figures in 14 of 15 games this season—reaching the 20-point plateau eight times.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the OVER is 4-1 in the last five meetings at Pauley Pavilion.
