The Oklahoma State Cowboys are 36-15-3 ATS in their last 54 home games

South Florida takes its second road trip of the season, as it enters Wednesday night’s contest on a three-game winning streak, which includes a 64-53 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs as 3.5-point home favorites.  “This should be the stiffest challenge we’ve had all year,” stated Bulls coach Stan Heath.  The Bulls are known for getting after it defensively, holding teams to 38.8 percent shooting and 58.7 points per game.  South Florida is 6-1 ATS in its last seven road games, which can’t be ignored when looking at the college football odds page.

The Bulls are taking care of the basketball this year, as they’ve only had 12 turnovers or higher in one games this season.  South Florida has held 17 of its last 20 opponents to 60 points or less, which includes the program allowing just 56.6 points per game a year ago, which was a single-season record.  Heath welcomed back four of his top five scorers from a year ago.

Oklahoma State returns to Gallagher-Iba Arena for the first of six-straight home games, which is the first time the program will enjoy such a streak since the 1997-98 campaign.    The Cowboys have a great opportunity to pick up a victory in this contest, considering the Bulls have lost 10 straight true road games against ranked teams by an average of 16.2 points per game.  The team is also limiting opponents to just 61.7 points per game on 35.9 percent shooting from the floor.  Oklahoma State is 36-15-3 ATS in its last 54 home games.

The Cowboys are 37-27 all-time against Big East opponents, but have never faced the Bulls.  Oklahoma State has compiled a formidable 315-45 record on this court since the 1988-89 season, including wins in 175 of its last 179 non-conference games.  Of the program’s last 12 losses at home, nine have been to ranked opponents, which is important to consider when making your college basketball picks against the spread.  Offensively, the team is the only school in the Big 12 Conference to have three different players ranked among the league’s top 21 in scoring.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bulls due to their 6-1 ATS mark on the road versus winning home teams, while the Cowboys are 2-5 ATS at home versus a team with a road winning percent of 60 percent or better.
