Oregon is a slight favorite at arch-rival Oregon St Sunday night in the Pac 12 opener for both teams.

The 11-2 Oregon Ducks open Pac 12 play at arch rival Oregon St Sunday. The 10-3 Beavers are also playing their first Pac 12 game of the season. This is the 338th meeting between the rivals, more than any other match-up in NCAA history. Oregon St leads the series 184-153, including 99-61 in Corvallis. The two teams split the season series last year, with each winning on the road.

Oregon is coached by Dana Altman. The Ducks have losses Cincinnati in a tournament in Las Vegas an at UTEP in triple overtime. Oregon has key wins over Vanderbilt, at UNLV, Nebraska, and Nevada. The Ducks improved to 10-0 at home with 56-43 win over Nevada on New Year’s Eve in their last game. This is only the third road game of the season for the Ducks. Oregon is 6-5 ATS and the total is 2-3 this season.

Oregon St is coached by Craig Robinson. The Beavers have losses to Alabama in New York City, to Kansas in Kansas City, and at home to Towson in overtime last week. This could be a high scoring game as both teams average almost 80 points a game. Oregon is a much better defensive team though. I think that will be the difference, as the Ducks win on the road.
