America East Tournament Preview
Oklahoma travels to Iowa State Monday in a key Big 12 game.

The 20-8 Oklahoma Sooners have won 8 of the last 9 games including 3 straight to improve to 11-5 in Big 12 play, only a game behind 12-4 Kansas. The Sooners host Kansas Saturday in the regular season finale that could decide the Big 12 regular season title. However, first the Sooners have a very difficult road game at 20-8 Iowa State Monday night. Iowa State is 10-6 in conference and tied for third with Baylor and West Virginia.

If Iowa State wins Monday and Kansas beats West Virginia at home Wednesday, then Kansas will clinch the Big 12 regular season title for an 11th straight season. Despite losing two straight games, Iowa State can clinch a share of the title if they win out and Oklahoma beats Kansas. Oklahoma can clinch the Big 12 title outright if they win out and Kansas loses to West Virginia. Otherwise they can clinch a share by beating Iowa State and Kansas even if Kansas beats West Virginia.

Oklahoma leads the series 113-82 against Iowa State but the Cyclones are 47-38 in Ames. Oklahoma won 94-83 in Norman February 9. This is the last scheduled meeting between the teams this season but they could meet in the Big 12 tournament.
