The 16-3 Kansas Jayhawks leads the Big 12 at 5-1 by a half game over West Virginia and Iowa State. Kansas has won at least a share of the Big 12 regular season title for the last 10 seasons. Next up for the Jayhawks, is a trip to Fort Worth Wednesday night to take on the 14-15 Texas Christian Horned Frogs. TCU is 1-5 in conference and in 9 place ahead of only 1-6 Texas Tech.

 

In a series that dates back to 1952, Kansas leads the series against TCU 7-1. The lone win for the Horned Frogs came in Fort Worth in 2012 in the first year TCU was in the Big 12. Kansas has won 3 straight games since that game, including both meetings last year 91-69 in Fort Worth and 95-65 in Lawrence. Kansas will host TCU February 21.

Kansas is arguably the best team in a loaded Big 12, but they shouldn’t take TCU lightly. TCU nearly upset West Virginia on the road last week. Kansas should win this game but they can’t look ahead to Kansas State on Saturday.
