Baltimore will play on the road for the third time in four weeks, as it attempts to bounce back from a 19-17 setback to the Green Bay Packers as one-point home underdogs Sunday, while going UNDER the betting total for the fourth time in five contests.  Dating back to 2008, the Ravens have split 10 regular season meetings with the Steelers under head coach John Harbaugh, which is important to consider when making your NFL betting picks in Week 7.  The last five regular season games played in the Steel City between these two rivals have all been decided by three points.  Baltimore is 6-8 SU and 8-5-1 ATS as underdogs the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 8-5 in that situation.

The Ravens have the NFL’s second-most sacks with 22 heading into this affair, with nine different players recording a sack thus far during the 2013 campaign.  Baltimore’s defense has been dominant in the red zone this season—limiting foes to a 25 percent touchdown rate in that situation.  Offensively, the team ranks 18th in the league in averaging 22.3 points per game, while sitting behind 21 other squads in gaining 335.7 yards per game.

Pittsburgh captured its first win of the season after coming off a bye week, as it captured a 19-6 victory over the New York Jets as one-point road favorites Sunday.  The Steelers have won the statistical battle in their last three games after being out-gained in their first two contests.  It’s still important to point out that the franchise hasn’t tallied back-to-back wins in 13 games.  Taking care of the football will be the most important aspect of this matchup, with Sunday’s host not turning the ball over in the Big Apple last week after committing 11 to start the season.  Pittsburgh is 12-6 SU and 8-9-1 ATS at home over the last two-plus campaigns.

The Steelers have an opportunity of pulling off a victory in this spot if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is able to play at a high level, as he’s completed just 54.9 percent of his attempts for an average of 259.8 yards with six touchdowns and seven interceptions in his last six regular-season meetings against the Ravens.

Sports bettors will likely back the Steelers due to the RAvens being 0-4 ATS on the road versus teams with a losing home record.
