NHL- Ottawa in the NHL Finals

The Ottawa Senators are in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time ever. They did it by beating the Buffalo Sabres 4 games to 1, including a 3-2 OT win in the final game of the series.

NBA- James Vs the Pistons?

So, in the Eastern Conference finals the question is can the Pistons stop LeBron James? James has had a dynamite post-season, averaging 27.3 PPG while dishing off an average of six assists and grabbing 6.7 rebounds.

MLB- Mets Are Hot in the NL

NBA- Warriors and Jazz Tonight

Up-tempo, penetration, passing out along the perimeter and shoot—that’s the basic Warrior way and coach Don Nelson’s blueprint for creating three-point opportunities. Although the last seed Warrior lost to the fourth seed Jazz in the first game of their Western Semifinal match-up, it was more of one team outlasting the other than Golden State Breaking down.

NBA- Pistons Are in Control

The Detroit Pistons defeated the Chicago Bulls handily in game two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 108- 87. By the end of the first quarter it was 34- 18 and by the half 58- 43. That marked the second home court victory in a row for the East’s first-seed Pistons.

MLB- Yankees Cashman Lives Up to his Name

The New York Yankees announced today that future Hall of Famer and pitch-when-he-wants-to Roger Clemens will rejoin the floundering club. Last year, Clemens started 19 games for the Astros, going 7- 6, posting an ERA of 2.30 over 113.1 innings. He struck out 102 and walked 29.

NBA- Cavaliers Net a Victory in Game One

The Cleveland Cavaliers earned the first victory in their Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the New Jersey Nets. LeBron James had a stuffy nose and was slowed down a bit but with 21 he was still the top point maker for Cleveland. For the Nets, Vince Carter led the way with 21 points. But Jason Kidd was only good for seven.

MLB- Are The Yankees Out of It?

Every year it seems that the Yankees get off to a bad start or go into some sort of mid-season funk and then pull it out. This year, they look exceptionally bad due to (not a lack of conditioning) but a pitching roster with more holes in it than Blackburn Lancashier (it’s a reference to a Beatles song, I didn’t want to say the age-old reference, “Swiss cheeseâ€?). NBA: Bulls Are Back and the Heat is Out

It was a clean sweep. The closest game was the first, which the Bulls won 96- 91. The third-game was won by eight-points. But the Bulls beat the heat by 13-points in Miami to win game four and take the series! Very few analysts picked Chicago. (more…)
