Wisconsin Milwaukee OVER Oklahoma
This is definitely a possible upset and the oddsmakers seems to agree, as they have only made Oklahoma a 2½ point favorite in this game. Calvin Sampson's club comes into this tournament absolutely reeling as they lost in the first round to Nebraska in their opening game of the Big 12 Conference Tournament. Before that, they got absolutely thumped by at Texas 72-48. Meanwhile, Wisconsin Milwaukee blew out Butler, Loyola-Chicago, and Detroit to end their season. They finished 14-4 in the Horizon League and 21-8 overall. This team can definitely give Oklahoma some problems because I am a big believer in teams who are playing well right now, and Oklahoma is not one of those teams. They are 0-7 their last 7 games overall and are just 4-9 ATS away from home. Don't be surprised to see them take a first round dive.

South Alabama OVER Florida

South Alabama may be a little bit of a stretch as Florida's talent will take over in the second half of this ball game but keep an eye on South Alabama. They are arguably one of the hottest teams in this tournament winning 8 in a row and 11 of their last 12. The tournament selection committee said that the last team out was Western Kentucky. Well, South Alabama took care of them by 25 points. This team ended their season 17-8 ATS, 11-3 ATS away from home and can definitely give a Florida team a run for their money. For some reason, Billy Donovan's teams have a tendency to not come to play in their first round games so they better come to play or could be a quick ticket home.

San Diego State OVER Indiana

I will give Indiana credit for playing much better over the past 6 games but they better be on the look out when they play a talented San Diego State team. San Diego State ended their season by ripping off 6 straight wins and 8 of their last 9. They are 24-8 overall and have defeated their last 5 opponents by an average of 13 points. I know the level of competition is completely different in the Big 10 but I am still not sold on Indiana. They played Ohio State to the wire but Ohio State is not playing very well at all and they beat an average Wisconsin team in their Big 10 Tournament opener. The only valid win they've had over their past 6 was at home against Michigan State. This game is a definite upset alert.

Kent State OVER Pittsburgh

If Kent State doesn't get beat up on the glass they could pull off the upset here. They are a very talented team winning both the Mid American Conference Regular Season and Conference Tournament. They have won 10 of their last 11 games and covered 8 of their last 10. I am not sold on Pittsburgh as a legitimate Elite 8 team. They just did not impress me at all against Syracuse. They struggled with Louisville in their Conference Tournament opener and lost to Seton Hall at home to close out their regular season. If they don't bring their A game they could let this one slip through their fingers. Kent State didn't win 25 games by mistake.

Southern Illinois OVER West Virginia

You have got to give credit to Southern Illinois for winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. No matter what the experts say, this conference is solid and it says a lot about this team who was able to beat a red hot Bradley team in the Championship game as well as another tournament bound team in Northern Iowa. Again, West Virginia is a team that is struggling at the wrong time of year. They have lost 5 of their last 7. Southern Illinois only gives up 56 points a game and their tough, hard nose defensive minded team could give the Mountaineers some trouble.
