Coach: Guy Morriss (3rd year at Baylor)
Team Name: Bears
2004 Record: 3-8
2004 Big 12 Conference Record 1-7
2004 ATS Record: 7-3
Returning Starters: 13

There is some mediocre talent at the skilled positions, but both the offensive and defensive lines are inferior. The athletes are just not there to be competitive with the rest of the Big 12 conference.

An improvement on last years 3 wins is possible due to 3 winnable non conference games. To do so the Bears will need to start the season out 3-0, and than pull an upset against a Big 12 foe. Baylor surprised Colorado in 2003 and knocked off A&M in 2004. We predict Guy Morris and the Bears will do so again in 2005 and improve to a 4 win ball club.
